Eating & Drinking
If you don’t want to cook there is a country restaurant just 2km away
or you can go to the nearby village of Competa where you will find many places to eat and drink.
Why not try one of the traditional tapas bars, don’t be put of by there rustic appearance, the quality of the food will surprise you and not leave you with an empty pocket.
We can provide breakfast lunch or dinner by prior arrangement and you are welcome to join us in the evening for a drink.
Activities
The Sierra Tejeda national park offers an abundance of activities. Experience unspoilt nature in the mountains that rise up to 2000m high, where eagles, Ibex, wild goats, Lynx, and many other animals can still be found in the constantly changing landscapes, under clear sky’s and lead free air.
Hiking
Discover wild ravines with sparkling clear mountain streams and waterfalls, old ruins, high peaks, Pine and Eucalyptus trees. The constantly changing smells of the Pine, the wild Rosemary and lavender remain unforgettable. For guests, who prefer less strenuous activities, we have other alternatives.
Riding
Enjoy horse riding on these beautiful Andalusian horses, enjoy the landscape, the clean air and the endless silence of the mountains. The shear size of the mountains is breathtaking.
Mountainbiking
Extensive Mountainbike routes go direct from our house and are possible, even for untrained riders. . For the sportier ones among you the mountains and valleys offer endless possibilities. It is possible to go downhill 15 kilometers all the way to the coast some 900m below mainly over gravel mountain tracks and if you don’t want to ride all the way back up we can always collect you from the coast.
Jeep driving
Explore the mountains, let us take you on a guided tour. You can also drive down to the coast just 15km away where you will find beautiful secluded bays with unspoilt beaches. The impressive historic cities Malaga, Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla are only a day trip away.
At certain times of the year Quad and motorbike tours can be arranged.
Also Scuba Diving and Snorkelling can be arranged.
